Privacy Policy — Fentress Books MCP Last updated: June 3, 2026

1. Who this covers. "Fentress Books MCP" is a private software integration operated by Fentress Carpentry LLC ("we," "us") solely for our own internal bookkeeping. It is not offered to the public and has no other users.

2. What it accesses. When connected to our QuickBooks Online company, the app accesses accounting data in that company file (for example: accounts, transactions, invoices, customers, vendors, and reports) in order to view and maintain our own books.

3. How data is used. Data is used only to read and update our own QuickBooks Online records. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with any third party.

4. Where data lives. The app runs locally on company-controlled computers. It does not store QuickBooks data on any public server. Access credentials (OAuth tokens) are stored locally and are not transmitted to anyone other than Intuit's QuickBooks Online API.

5. Data retention & deletion. Because the app only operates on our own QuickBooks Online company, the authoritative records remain in QuickBooks Online. Local credentials can be revoked at any time by disconnecting the app in Intuit's account settings.
